The PEN tag allows the drawing of non-contiguous lines.

 

The different values are :

<PEN=->                solid pen, solid line

<PEN=..>                dotted line

<PEN=-->                dashed line

<PEN=.-> or <PEN=-.>                .-.-.-.-

<PEN=-..>

 

Note: the pen option is active only with a 1 pixel width line. Lines with a width of more than 1 pixel are solid lines only.
