vpxPrint version 7

Due to a problem with XPRINT registered trademark, xPrint is now called vpxPrint.

NEW in 7.7

With the version 7.7, vpxPrint is now able to center, right justify or justify a text within a frame. Simply insert a <CENTER>, <RIGHT> or <JUSTIFY> tag after the <USE> statement.

Version 7, the page bookmarks !

You can define page bookmarks and use it anywhere in the report, even in the beginning. This example shows a table of contents for the customers listing. When clicking on the page number, vpxPrint links to the corresponding page with sensitive areas ... (full example can be found in the demo procedure)

Sensitive areas, buttons, links... In this example: - the button redirects the viewer to the next page - three input areas are defined, - a link to an internet site, - a link to a send mail function   You can : - select any page (first, next, prev, last), - run an external program, - send a mail - etc.

3. Alphanumeric bookmarks :
Bookmarks can be alphanumeric.
<#address> set a bookmark called 'address' at the current position.
<=address> replaces the cursor to the bookmark called 'address'.

DrawArray() function to quick build complex arrays.

6. printPDF() is now automatic for PDF licensed users instead of printFile() . The new vpxPrint.lic file embeds all the license informations.

9. The limit of PDF files size has been increased. Text files are virtually without limit.

10. Portable vpxPrint File.
Available as a new option, the portable vpxPrint File is available in version 7.
When sending an vpxPrint file to another site, the file can be viewed by the recipient with the viewer vpxPrint.exe.
But if there is no vpxPrint license, no printing is available.
With portable vpxPrint file option, you can now construct files that the viewer will recognize and print.

11. Change in licensing conditions:

We achieve a lot of work to do the best for vpxPrint and support our clients.

To continue this effort, we need to change our general financial conditions.
- migrating from V6 to V7 generates an extra fee.
- support will no longer be free. A support contract is now available.

vpxPrint is always the best value in his category, each license applies to one site or server, not to a station.
